Stella was 2.5 years old when we adopted her from German Shepherd rescue. She was an extremely playful dog.  Despite her orthopedic issues, she would play frisbee and fetch until you made her stop.  While Stella was a very happy dog, she was not a confident dog. Stella had severe anxiety that was kept at bay with a confident dog partner and lots of exercise.
